Feels good, to be back. A tiny, little private (or not so private) space in this huge virtual world of data. On one hand, the friends page on LJ makes it convenient for my posts to be read. On another hand, it might just be too convenient. Somehow I feel a little too "exposed" with the friends page function.
Besides, I find it easier to manage a photoblog here. That said, this may or may not be a photoblog, or sort of a hybrid. I don't really have the time to commit to a regularly-updated photoblog. And there's facebook where you can just dump your photos into an album for many more people to marvel at. So this space here, will not be for dumping. I think I'll share some of the random and interesting stuff I encounter, like stuff on deviantart, books, thoughts and definitely not internet junk.
Also, I'm going to use the "labels" function to categorize. In my past blogs I didn't really use it because well.... it didn't seem useful at that time. Hmm... I'm probably going to have a few of them: Perspectives (I can't conjure a more interesting name for my photos), Art, Ideas, Life.
Yeah, hopefully I'll keep this going. I think I will. Besides, there'll be lots of "interesting" army experiences that I can share here. (Without friends page, people won't complain about my ranting about army life too)
