Neoteny #001 - Stars, Pokemon and Letterpress

Alright! The first issue of Neoteny. The author's bad at names, he knows, but well it sounds good enough. So here's how it is. Three worthy works from everywhere, and probably some babbling from the author himself.

First up, a breathtaking time-lapse video put together by Sheldon Neill and Colin Delehanty in their collaboration - Project Yosemite.

The sequences are lined up thoughtfully, cycling between day and night, expanding the clip's visual intensity. While the dawn and dusk sequences are truly captivating, the starry night sequences are just too inspiring. Check out their website here. Perhaps someone can try one like this from our very own nature reserves?

And next we have something that we'll never be bored of - Pokemon, right from the original trio. A cute doodle from Olly Moss. Do check out his blog for other works, especially the re-imagined movie posters.

The third feature goes to a 'wordless' documentary of letterpress printing. Enjoy.

Hope you've enjoyed this inaugural Neoteny post. #002 will be published in a two weeks' time. If everything goes well, Neoteny will be a weekly affair. See ya.
