A (not so new) Direction

Evidently I have changed the name and even the url of the blog. The Axiomatic Axolotl. I spent quite a fair bit of time thinking about the name and "The Recreational Emoter" just doesn't catch on. "The Rational Emoter" came on the list but it has too much to do with some self-help technique or something like that. So why an axolotl and why an axiomatic one?

I like axolotls. The word itself appeals to me, though the creature itself is out of the world. And so axolotl it is, and I've sketched out a rough 'logo' that will be up on the blog's title some time soon. And what other word than 'axiomatic' makes a better adjective for axolotls?

There are various stimuli for this change. I have a new idea for this blog, not so new actually, because this place was meant for various interesting artsy stuff that I stumble upon every now and then, besides my personal creations. And so in an inspired attempt to rejuvenate this idea, I am going to do things differently. Instead of "stumbling" upon stuff, I shall actively seek content over the many pages I often visit, including but not limited to youtube channels, geeky blogs and other forums. It will be something like The Casual Optimist but I am not so much into reviewing/sharing books (though I proclaim to be an devoted reader). It will also be something along the lines of Inspirational Geek but less of geeky stuff, more of other random stuff that, well, interests me.
